1.BACK PASSES
Back passes are strictly prohibited.
2.MATCH DURATION
  • Group Stage: 8 minutes per game.
  • Quarter-finals & Semi-finals: 10 minutes per game.

  • Final: 14 minutes total, played in two halves.

3.DIscipline
  • Yellow Card: Player must leave the pitch for 2 minutes.
Two Yellow Cards (in one game): Player is sent off for the remainder of the match.
  • Straight Red Card: Player is sent off immediately and suspended for the next match.
4.TRACKING

Slide tackles are not allowed.

5.SUBSTITUTIONS
  • Substitutions are not rolling.
  • Group Stage: Maximum of 2 substitution calls per team.

  • Knockout Rounds (Quarters, Semis, Final): Maximum of 3 substitution calls per team.

6. Points System
  • Win = 3 points.
  • Draw = 1 point.

  • Loss = 0 points.

  • Goal difference will decide rankings if points are tied.

7. Knockout Rules
  • Quarter-finals & Semi-finals: If tied, go straight to penalties
  • Final: If tied, extra time will be played before penalties (if needed).

1.⁠ ⁠Who can enter the tournaments?

Our tournaments are open to players aged 13 to 18 for our youth tournaments and adults will soon have their own aging from 18 on. Whether you’re part of a team, a school, a local club, or just a group of friends, you’re welcome to join.

2.⁠ ⁠How do I register my team?

You can register directly through our website by filling out the team entry form. Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with payment details to secure your spot.

3.⁠ ⁠Can I join if I don’t have a team?

Yes! Don’t worry if you don’t have a team — we’ll place you into one so you can still enjoy the full tournament experience.

4.⁠ ⁠What is the entry fee?

The entry fee is £120 per team ( 8 players). This covers your tournament place, referees, facilities, winners fee and supports our idea for bringing cities together to play against each other.

5.⁠ ⁠How long does a tournament last?

Each tournament runs for around 4 hours, including group stages, semi-finals, and a final. Full schedules are provided in advance so you know your match times.

6.⁠ ⁠What should players bring on the day?

Players should wear suitable football boots/trainers and sports kit. Shin pads are strongly recommended. We’ll provide bibs/balls, so you just need to bring energy and commitment.

7.⁠ ⁠Are there prizes for winners?

Yes! Winners receive a winners cash prize, plus recognition across our official 224_uk platforms. Not to mention the winners will also receive an automatic entry to the following tournament against the other winners from each city. We also celebrate standout performances with individual awards.
